In today’s world, where challenges seem ever-present, it’s heartening to see young people stepping up to bring positive change to their communities. 230 Conversations is a registered Non-profit organization that was established in 2020 during Covid by a group of faith driven young people from the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Whilst the nations were imprisoned by the fear of the unknown, this group of young people chose Jesus Christ as their rock.

One such group, is doing just that, uplifting its community through a range of impactful charitable drives, projects, and outreach programs that address both immediate and long-term challenges. Their efforts are rooted in the belief that when people work together with purpose and passion, they can create lasting, meaningful change. At the core of 230 Conversations is a vision of service, a vision inspired by faith and driven by the desire to show up in the cities. Upon recognizing the pressing needs of their surrounding community, they set out to create an organization that could respond to those needs with compassion and action. 

Key Initiatives and Projects

1. Community Drives- Majazana Community
   One of the most powerful ways this NPO is making a difference is through regular community drives. Whether it’s a food drive for families in need, a clothing drive for those who have been affected by natural disasters, or a back-to-school supply drive to help local students, these initiatives directly support individuals facing hardship. Each drive is designed to not only provide material support but also to foster a sense of community and care.

   The youth leaders and 230 community behind these drives work tirelessly to collect donations, organize volunteers, and ensure that every item reaches those who need it most. They have an upcoming building project which will be taking place in Lesotho for the year 2025, all hands will be on decks just as the man in the bible named Nehemiah who rebuilt the walls of Jerusalem.

Moreover, as the youth involved gain valuable skills and experience, they are preparing to pass on the torch to the next generation of leaders. By fostering a culture of service, the NPO ensures that the cycle of community empowerment continues for years to come.
